Special Announcement
Media Members Federal Credit Union will be moving our office to the 8th and Market Streets location sometime in June or July. Our office hours at the new location will be 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
The good news is that in addition to that location, we will be opening a larger office at the SPP building with full-time hours as well. Beginning May 21, The SPP Credit Union office will also be open from Monday through Friday and the hours of operation there will be 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
We remain committed to serving our members now and hopefully for many years to come.
Annual Membership Meeting
Our 2011 Annual Membership Meeting was held on February 15 in the Conference Room at the Center City location. Almost 100 members attended the meeting. Included in the agenda were reports by Maryanne Klein, President/CEO; Earl Laney, Treasurer; Ken Stone, Credit Committee Chairperson; and Bud Seixas, Supervisory Committee Chairperson.
Members were given the opportunity to discuss new business and ask questions regarding the operation of the credit union. Cash prizes were awarded to 17 members attending the meeting. Everyone who attended also received a free gift.
Directors elected for three years were Franni Lewis, Ken Stone and Maryanne Klein.
Following the meeting, the Board of Directors met and elected the following officers for 2012: Jim Kilrain, Chairman of the Board; Franni Lewis, Vice-Chairperson; Jerry Etter, Secretary; and Earl Laney, Treasurer.
Next year's meeting will be held on February 20, 2013.

International Credit Union Day
2011 International Credit Union Day was celebrated by over 400 people at our Philadelphia and SPP offices. Those who attended received a free gift and soft pretzel . They were also eligible to win some great prizes including restaurant and retail store gift certificates. Some of the lucky winners' pictures are posted below.
